Gentle In-Home Rehab Care

Manual Modalities

Manual Stretching

Manual Stretching and passive range-of-motion work are gentle, hands-on techniques we use when a dog is stiff, guarding a limb, or hesitant to move after an injury or surgery. During your home visit, we slowly guide the affected joints through comfortable arcs of motion while your dog remains relaxed and supported.

This early movement helps prevent the joint from stiffening, reduces the risk of long-term contractures, and supports better circulation to healing tissues. For senior dogs with arthritis, it can also ease that "rusty" feeling after rest, so standing up and taking those first few steps is less of a struggle.

We move at your dog's pace, watching closely for signs of discomfort, and we will teach you safe, easy techniques you can use between sessions. Done regularly, this quiet kind of stretching becomes a powerful way to protect mobility and support a smoother, more complete recovery.
